Sundays 8:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist Rite I This service has no music and is a nice way to spend an early Sunday morning. Rite I uses traditional language (think “thee,” “thy” and “thou”) and has been enjoyed by parishioners for years. 10:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist Rite II. (Rite I during Lent) Our main worship service features traditional music. Many families attend this service as our Sunday School program meets during this time. The children usually join their parents at the Exchange of the Peace to have communion as a family. The choir, under the direction of Organist & Choirmaster Jon Kolenchak, leads the congregational hymns and service music and offers anthems throughout the service. Usually once a month, the Children’s Choir participates in the service. During the summer, a soloist may be featured. Thursdays 9:30 a.m. - Holy Eucharist & Healing Looking for that perfect mid-week “boost”? This service is contemplative in nature and offers an opportunity for those with special prayers to be healed. 7:00 p.m. - Summer Thursday Evening Garden Eucharist Bring the family and join us on Summer Thursday evenings for a short Holy Eucharist service in the Memorial Garden (weather permitting). If the weather is bad, we’ll move inside. Following the service there will be ice cream, and we expect to be done by 8:30. For those who spend summer weekends out of town, this is a great opportunity to attend a service and partake of some fellowship. 2nd Sunday of the Month (October - May) 6:30 p.m. - Evensong A favorite of many, this service is a great way to wind down before a new, secular week begins. Along with contemplative prayer and very mild incense, our all-male Chamber Choir is featured as they lead chants, hymns and anthems. Following the service, is a 20-minute music recital featuring guest organists, chamber groups and vocalists. |
