Since 1978, Christ Church has had a Memorial Garden. Over the last 30 years many members of our parish family have been cremated and buried here.

Others have chosen this as a place to reflect, or to find peace and quiet.

In 2008, after several years of planning, the Memorial Garden was expanded.

The original part of the garden where the lawn was taken out and sidewalk put in. The new bed in the center provides a place for planting and an eventual water feature. Many of Christ Church’s loved ones have been buried here since 1978.

The new part extends away from the church building and wraps behind the original part of the garden. A beautiful retaining wall is placed in the back corner. The sidewalk is a great feature for those of us who remember sinking in the lawn after heavy rains.

Another view of the garden, this time from the yard. In the foreground you’ll see the top of the retaining wall with the sidewalk below. The circle in the center will eventually be used for statuary.
