Worship

We have several options for worship at Christ Church. On Sundays we have two services, 8:00 a.m. (Rite I) and 10:00 a.m. (Rite II) Every Thursday we have a 9:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist & Healing Service.

On the second Sunday of the month, October – May, we have Choral Evensong at 6:30 p.m.

During the summer, we have a Thursday Evening Eucharist in the Memorial Garden at 6:30 p.m..

10:00 a.m - Holy Eucharist Rite II

Our principal service on Sunday mornings. Here you will find the newer of the two Holy Eucharist Rites with traditional and some contemporary music styles mixed in.

8:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist Rite I

This service uses the Rite I service which has more traditional language (think “thee, thy and thou”). No music is used which provides a more contemplative worship experience.

Second Sunday; 6:30 p.m. Choral Evensong

On the second Sunday of every Month (October – May) we have an Evensong service. The service is contemplative in nature with candlelight, prayer, mild incense and music  provided by the Chamber Choir.

Thursday Evenings - Summertime Garden Eucharist

Weather permitting, Holy Eucharist Rite II is held in the great outdoors, in the beauty of our recently-expanded Memorial Garden. Thursday; 9:30 a.m. - Holy Eucharist & Healing

A member of the clergy leads worshipers in the Holy Eucharist. Additionally, one has the choice of kneeling at the altar to receive healing and prayer whether for themselves or a loved one. This is a great opportunity for a “mid-week boost”.
